Welcome to the Potteries Folk Club! Our club was founded over 60 years ago and has been dedicated to promoting and preserving traditional folk music ever since. We host regular events where musicians and music lovers can gather to share their love of traditional songs and tunes. Our aim is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone can come together to enjoy the rich cultural heritage of folk music.
At the Potteries Folk Club, we believe that folk music is more than just a genre of music; it's a living, breathing tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. We are committed to keeping this tradition alive by providing a platform for local musicians to showcase their talents, and by supporting emerging artists to develop their skills.
Our events are open to everyone, whether you're an experienced musician or a complete novice. We host regular singarounds, where anyone is welcome to join in and share their favourite songs, as well as guest performances from some of the finest folk musicians from around the country.
